I've been looking for a chair for my living room forever but the problem is that the room is quite small so my options are pretty limited. Well! I totally scored at the sale today! Found this sweet little slipper chair that had it's $198 price tag (which was obviously way high) slashed down to $49....score!!!
The pattern was throwing me off a bit at first but it's totally growing on me (I can always throw a slip cover on it later if I need to). And yes, I realize that it clashes a bit with the rug. Once I put a throw on it, it mellowed out a bit! It's really comfortable and in perfect condition. Here it is in my living room (don't mind Murphy....he was in the middle of a downward dog and I didn't have the heart to tell him to move and I was too excited to wait!) Hopefully the room doesn't look too busy now....hmmm....
There was a pair but I had no idea what I would do with the second one so I only bought one. I have to admit that I'm kind of kicking myself now. I should have gotten it and put it in my bedroom or something in the hopes that some day they would be able to sit side by side.
After my exciting adventure/score/Yay Me moment, I decided it was time I tried the kale chips that everyone but me seems to be eating. I googled kale chips and the general consensus seemed to be a bit of olive oil and salt. I also added some Parmesan cheese before I baked it. Here they are ready to bake!

And after about 15 minutes, they were done!
| Crunchy! |
The verdict? Um....interesting! I didn't love them as much as I had hoped but I didn't hate them either. I liked the Parmesan cheese for sure. They were very crunchy and I can see how they are a great alternative to eating chips. I dipped them in a bit of hummus and that was really yummy.
