The fantastic and hilarious Nancy over at Notes of a Non-Runner has organized a virtual race for 'running blogging friends'. 8 on the 8th is, just as it sounds, an 8 mile run on the 8th of December which if you haven't noticed your calendar lately, is this Saturday!! So. I'm super excited about it for a couple of reasons: First, this running community of blogs has been so fun to discover. There are a ton of hilarious and super fun people out there talking about running and this is a great way to bring them all together. I love being a part of it. Second, it's nice to have something to get my motivation back in check. I've been in a bit of a running slump lately and it's time to snap out of it sister! This fun event is just what the dr. ordered. My hope is that the weather cooperates and I don't have to do my 8 on the treadmill because we all know how that relationship is going! Cheers to Nancy for organizing such a great event!!
